This marks the end of my third week since I dedicated myself to #ProjectHealthy. This week has been the toughest so far. I left my student ID at home over the weekend and missed two gym days because of it.
Missing two days isn't the end of the world, but it completely through me off track. I had no motivation to go to the gym on Wednesday, but I made it there! And I'm proud that I got there, even though it was at 8:00 at night. Now I just have to get back into my routine.
When I started my #ProjectHealthy goals I also started looking for an on campus job for the fall. I was originally going to apply for an easy desk job just to make some extra money, but then I realized that the gym was hiring! I applied to floor supervisor and got it thanks to my health and fitness goals and my passions for women and self image.
After receiving my job offer I literally danced in the street to a song I made up and was singing out loud. I got some funny looks, but it was totally worth it.
I'm so excited to keep striving to make #ProjectHealthy a lifestyle, and to bring that lifestyle into working at campus rec this fall.
