This weekend while I was home visiting I got an email saying there was a package for me at school. I had no idea what it could be, but I was super excited when I found out what it was. I was walking to class (on this freezing, windy, New England morning) and I thought I was going to die I was so cold, so I decided to stop and pick up my package. When I opened it I saw this gorgeous, monogramed, houndstooth scarf from Marley Lilly! I could have cried from happiness!

These colors couldn't have been more perfect. With the holidays coming up, I cannot wait to wear this super cozy and bright red scarf around town. One thing I'm always picky about with scarves is that I like to be able to tuck them into my vest or jacket, I can't wear scarves that are too bulky or too huge. This scarf is the perfect balance of a big wrap around scarf with the comfortability of a lightweight scarf.

If you've been reading my blog for a while then you know I am a college student who is completely pro-comfort. I am not the girl who gets super dressed up for each class. I like to look put together, but I also like to feel comfortable. Marley Lilly does a great job of designing clothes that fit into this little dynamic, and this scarf is not exception. Today I wore it with black leggings, a black zip-up sweatshirt, a beige J.Crew vest and camel colored UGGs. It was cute, comfy, and still looked put together.
