Megan Meade's Guide to the McGowan Boys
This weeks Weekly Review is close to my heart. "Megan Meade's Guide to the McGowan Boys" was the book that made me fall in love with reading. I first read it when I was in the eighth grade, and it completely changed my outlook on reading.
Just because this book is for "young adults" doesn't mean t's a cheesy high school romance read. Ok, well, they are in high school, and there is a romance, but still.
The novel follows the journey of Megan Meade, a high school student with two military parents. Her parents are being deployed abroad and she has a choice: go with her parents and live on base, or stay at the McGowan house. Too bad they have seven sons: Finn, Evan, Doug, Miller, Ian, Sean and Caleb.
With seven options to chose from who does Megan pick for her romance? Maybe there's a sibling rivalry over her?
