Graduation 2018
I did it. The thing I've been waiting to do since my first day of elementary school when they told us we were the Class of 2018. I graduated college. SO CRAZY! This always seemed like something everyone always talks about, but never actually happens, then all of a sudden it did. Classes ended, finals finsihed, and then I was walking across a stage shaking the hand of my department head, hugging my dean and holding back tears that I was about to leave the comfort of my University.
This past weekend I graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a Bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing (That's a fancy way of saying I got my bachelors in marketing, but either way, it's still insane.) And next week I start my dream job outside of Boston!
Every Gen Ed I've taken and killed myself over, all my group marketing projects and upper level business electives, my beloved Women of Isenberg Conference, have all brought me to this point.
I couldn't be more grateful for the hours spent with my friends in our massive 26 floor library, the #1 dining I've been so blessed to get to eat everyday, my beautiful (inside and out) sorority sisters, amazing roommates, and fantastic faculty and staff at the Isenberg School. Everyone I met throughout these four years has shaped my life and who I am for the better; and every experience has made me who I am today.
Congratulations to everyone who graduated this year! You worked so hard and you're going to do amazing things. And congratulations to every rising senior, you're about to have the best, most reflective years of your life.
xoxo
