I've said it before and I'll say it again: every college student needs a backpack. I swear by my tote bags. I own more black tote bags than most people, but even I have realized the necessity of backpacks in college. My Day Designer obsession has reached astronomical levels. Over the summer I purchased a second Day Designer (one of the daily Day Designer for Blue Sky ones) solely to use to organize all my syllabi. I still use my classic Day Designer, I have an old post on how I used to organize it here, but I use it in a slightly different way now that I have a second one just for my classes.
Backpacks are a serious college staple. When I first went to college I was convinced the the tote bags I used in high school would be fine, and I could get away without a backpack - no. I was very wrong.
The first week of every semester is simultaneously the easiest and most stressful week of the semester for me every year. Even though no actual assignments are due, and your only real responsibility is to decide if you like your classes or not, you're also handed 4, 5 or 6 syllabi outlining your life for the next 16 weeks.
Lately I have been so distracted. Mid-terms have taken over my life and it's caused my day planner to become lonely. I started feeling really stressed out, even after my exams were over, and I didn't know why; until I looked over and saw my Day Designer sitting all by it's lonesome on the top shelf of my desk. I sat down and had a much needed date with my planner last Saturday, and I've felt so much better ever since.
Every since I was younger I've had an obsession with cute notebooks. This obsession has since grown to a love of pretty agendas. While using my many pretty agendas I've found that there is not enough space to plan out my day or write all of the tasks I need to complete. This is where my day planner addiction began.
